pIt is with great sorrow that the officers and members of Lookout Fire Co. 1nbspannounce the passing of Firefighter Mitch Zanette. Mitch lost his battle with cancer in the early morning hours on February 21st whilenbspat the Daytona International Speedway in Daytona Florida for Speed week as part of the Daytona 500. Mitchnbspwas a huge NASCAR fan and even though he was sick he wanted to make it to the Daytona 500 in person. He made the trip with family and close friends was in Daytona for the past week as a part of his quotbucket tourquot. He was a one of a kind and truly a greatnbspman friend and firefighter. His presence around the station and fire company activities will truly be missed by all of us at Station 32.
