Hello friends and neighbors! We know how hard this unprecedented time has been and we hope you are staying safe and healthy. As we continue to encourage and stress how important it is for everyone to stay home, we hope this message can bring some happiness to the residents of Pen Argyl.
After much discussion and planning, we have decided that this Saturday, April 11th we will be doing a Stay at Home Easter Egg delivery for kids ages 10 and under that live in the borough only.
On Saturday we will have a small number of members of the fire company that will be driving around town in the fire trucks to deliver the plastic candy filled Easter Eggs. While we have taken recommended precautions when packaging eggs, you will find that we put them in easy to disinfect baggies if you choose to do so
On Saturday, we will begin the delivery run at 11 am for residents who live north/above route 512. For residents who live south/below, 512 will be in your area between 12 & 1 pm. When you hear the fire truck come outside so that we can toss a bag of eggs your way. We ask that you remain on your porch or sidewalk in order to keep the recommended distance.
Please continue to follow local, state, and federal guidelines as this situation unfolds. We are looking forward to waving your way and bringing some Easter cheer!
