pIn the early morning hours on 217 fire ripped through anbspbarn convertednbspinto apartments in Plainfield Township. Engine 3211 was dispatched just before 0430 hours to respond to the scene of a working dwelling fire in the 1500 block ofnbspPen Argyl Road in Plainfield Township. Engine 3211 Utility 3241 responded with a total of 15 volunteers. Upon the arrival of 3211nbspthe conditions of the fire had worsened and winds were driving the fire throughout the structure 36 command struck the evacuation tones and to commence a defensive attack. Crews from 32 continued to work the B and C sides of the building while working with other companys on scene to help control the blaze. Weather conditions of wind and low temperature played a major effect throughout the operation. Crews remained on scene to the late morning checking for hot spots and overhaul operations. A total of 10 people were displaced by the fire.
